This feel of slavery and inferiority complex has been deep rooted in to us and we have been taught to honour fair skin since our childhood.
Mr. Jairam Ramesh at least raised a significant voice against the system. While addressing the 7th convocation ceremony of the Indian Institute of Forest Management, Jairam said, "I've still not been able to figure out why we stick to such barbaric colonial relics,"
Why gowns and hats are necessary to be a part of convocation ceremony to get a degree which you have earned with your efforts. Why not wear what you like????
We have a lot of stupid things in our system of these kinds which were used to be followed by the English people and we follow them in the name of tradition....why so??????
Many people would go against me but I am a STRONG OPPOSER of COMMONWEALTH GAMES being organised in India and of even India participating in COMMONWEALTH GAMES.
This is yet another symbol of acknowledging the English Rule. participants of Commonwealth games are the countries which were colonies of the British. Its a feast of remembering our slavery and thanking England for what it did to make us civilised.........!!!!
For what we are spending crores of our money just to celebrate the English Rule????
I wish that Mr. Jairam's voice does not end up here but start a new thought among Indians to say Jai of Indians and indianhood.
